Hello!
I’m Elle Belvedere, an actor and Theatre artist from Toronto. I recently graduated from Concordia University in Montreal, completing my degree in Acting for the Theatre. Theatre is my passion. I thrive in collaborative environments where everyone’s voice is heard and creativity flows freely. As a part of the Mary Overlie Viewpoints Club, I’ve learned the power of co-led exploration and creating work without hierarchy. I also played an active role in CAST, Concordia’s Association of Students in Theatre, on events committee organizing and hosting gatherings and formals that brought our community together beyond the stage. Right now, I’m developing a project focused on breathing cycles to help actors navigate emotionally demanding material while also performing in Concordia’s Mainstage production Oresteia. Alongside this, I’ve been diving into themes of feminine power, exploring self-love and strength in my practice. In 2024, I was part of Imago Theatre’s ARTISTA Mentorship program, ARTISTA connected me with inspiring artists and allowed me to write my first ever memoir piece that opened our final performance. I bring a positive, dedicated energy to every project and thrive on having fun. On stage and in rehearsal, I create an environment that pushes me to do my best and helps me bring out my strongest performance.
My Interests
-
It’s my dream to be in Cats the musical. I’m drawn to the imagination and transformation the show demands of its performers. I also love doing improv and devised theatre there’s something electric about creating in the moment and shaping a piece collaboratively.
Shakespeare is another passion of mine, especially Much Ado About Nothing. Beatrice is one of my favourite characters; her wit, her strength, and her feminine power make her a joy to explore. I’m deeply drawn to character work, diving into who someone is through their body, voice, and lived experience.
From classical to modern plays, I love working on stage productions that challenge me and celebrate storytelling through strong ensemble work.
